Chuck Graff was presented an Industry Leadership and Excellence Award by Christopher Mayer at NEBS 2009, the 15th annual conference hosted by Verizon and AT&T. The sold-out event was held on Oct 27-28 in Baltimore, MD., and represents a long-standing tradition of providing timely information, unpacking ambiguous test requirements and spearheading network safety and reliability in the telecom space.

Through effort and dedication, Chuck continues to shape the NEBS landscape, having introduced innovative programs such as the independent testing laboratory certification program, energy efficiency management, RoHS reliability, and Thermal Modeling and Simulation Testing. Coupled with the basic electrical and environmental requirements defined in Telcordia’s Generic Requirements standards, these programs increase network resiliency, lower plant cost and decrease Verizon’s impact on the environment.

Chuck’s career spans 35 years with Verizon; his unwavering passion for quality continues today.
